It's just that such resets can be disruptive to the flow of gameplay. Resetting sims either the Testingcheatsenabled way or the MasterController way (this is a deeper reset, it actually rebuilds the sim from the data the game has on them) doesn't hurt them. I guess the push for the playpen when it's around is dominant, which is a shame, but resetting the adult sim does get them to pick up and remove the toddler from the pen. I've had sims unable to pick up a toddler that was inside the playpen and when they did, they simply put them back in, rather than actually feeding them. I like the walker as well but it can glitch out and go through walls so I don't use it that often! That said though, placement of the playpen is very picky. So my toddler can teach themselves to talk while my sims are at work. I currently have two working parents (as I often make maternity leave really short or end after infancy), and a babysitter who is a smart phone junkie. I really like this item, though I wasn't sure I would be begin with. EDIT: The playpen from ats3 can be found here, along with two others. I hope you enjoy your head start playpen, the animations between the two toddlers is really sweet. Moving the toddler can also work if you really have to put it in a corner. (I made a resort look like a campground, actually pretty awesome. I also take it whenever my sims go to a public lot with toddlers or go camping. I actually really like the pop up looking playpen from ats3 and usually put it outside to save space. They just stand there waving their arm with those steps in the thought bubble! Is there some trick to getting two kids in there? I know what you mean.

My Sims will put one of the girls in there but when they try to put her sister in there, they can't. So I bought the head start playpen for my sims toddler girls because I thought it would be every helpful for the parents and fun for the girls.
